Hi guys

Started work on the first of the cheap mechs, the green one as he is my favourite of the 6, he is turning out really nice, excellent for $5 USD Australian, I will be painting it black legs and red body, House Kurita colours, the hover car is a converted cheap discount store toy, the rubber parts are not tacky after undercoating, looks like it will paint up nicely thoughts?

Awesome base and posing – might have drilled the barrel on the gun personally! Making a guess on the size I wonder whether the separate weapon might be interchangeable with the slightly more 'realistic' weapons you get with the cheap ~4" action figures you find in bargain stores?

As for colour scheme I might have gone more animae inspired than BTech!

Yup the green mech was my favorite out of the group also, I'd say it's a medium class mech judging it by the size of the crushed hover car under foot. Personally I would go with a urban camouflage paint scheme but if that's not your cup of tea just have a look on a few of the Battletech pages for some inspiration if that's the route you want to take with this lil fellas.

That is very nicely done. It shows great imagination!

After reading your first post I thought to myself "I'd sure love to see what he does with these things."

And away we go!
