Hi guys Started work on the first of the cheap mechs, the green one as he is my favourite of the 6, he is turning out really nice, excellent for $5 USD Australian, I will be painting it black legs and red body, House Kurita colours, the hover car is a converted cheap discount store toy, the rubber parts are not tacky after undercoating, looks like it will paint up nicely thoughts? Awesome base and posing – might have drilled the barrel on the gun personally! Making a guess on the size I wonder whether the separate weapon might be interchangeable with the slightly more 'realistic' weapons you get with the cheap ~4" action figures you find in bargain stores? As for colour scheme I might have gone more animae inspired than BTech! |

Yup the green mech was my favorite out of the group also, I'd say it's a medium class mech judging it by the size of the crushed hover car under foot. Personally I would go with a urban camouflage paint scheme but if that's not your cup of tea just have a look on a few of the Battletech pages for some inspiration if that's the route you want to take with this lil fellas. |

After reading your first post I thought to myself "I'd sure love to see what he does with these things." And away we go! |
