Possibly a wise time to get the nuclear weapons and American families out of Incirlik airbase. If the balloon goes up and the shooting starts Incirlik will be indefensible.

Why are they still a NATO ally? Because if they were a Russian ally the Black Sea would be Russia's personal lake, and the Med would be threatened.
