My dad was in that lot.

Irish Republic (Free State strictly speaking) Home Guard. He was handed a very old rifle (he was lucky) and told to watch out for German paras descending on Waterford in 1940. Only reason I know it was true is because he told me that their Commandant told them do not worry about the Crown Forces. They had no airborne forces at the time they were told. Sounded right.

Those are WWII Russians with a SU-76.

Here is a pic of what I believe is WWII USSR AFV insignia. That marking is there … I just don't know what it is ?

Maybe Polish Army in the USSR? They did like to use Eagles
