It is simply superb modelling of the base and fortification.

But I love the idea of these two lads admiring the Allied fleet off Normandy, whilst the latter is pounding their base with naval artillery.

If "Sie Kommen", that Flak gun will not last five minutes and, standing there, neither will they. I would get on the phone and say "Guess what, sie kommen"

I would get the transfers/decals off my helmets for 1944 and run….
