Anyone know who now owns the production casting of Hallmark – Figurehead 1-6000 naval minis? I know Last Square, Scale Creep and Magister Militum all sell the minis but who owns the production line?

My understanding is that they are made by Noble Miniatures which is part of The Last Square.

Whoever they are, I Wish they'd produce some modern, Chinese and Japanese vessels for us.

Thresher01,

That is part of the reason I'm trying to find the the caster. Chinese, Japanese and Indian…

Sounds good to me. Count me in as a customer, if/when they make more stuff.

I want to do battles in the East and South China Seas, among other regions, too.

It is unlikely they will expand the range – it was sold as a whole and the original sculptor has retired from sculpting and last I heard wasn't very well.

I'm sorry to hear that. He taught me how to make vulcanised moulds and how to use a centrifugal casting machine – amongst other things. He is a very nice chap.

Shapeways has pretty much everything in 1/6000 for modern Chinese, Indian and Japanese.

They have modern ships:

I used to have a lot of their WW2 ships. Sold them all.
They are really nice but very tiny…
