AFAIK it is still unknown if the Chasseurs Britanniques carried flags or not. That being the case, could I have a suggestion for two suitable flags that could be used for them?

GMB do an excellent pair of flags for this unit. I would use them.

oh great – does that mean GMB know which flags the Chasseurs Britanniques carried? Or is is their best guess?

Probably their best guess. From what I have read the colors were sent back to Lisbon by the Regimental/Battalion commander and they have not been seen since. I even contacted the Regimental re-inactors in Paris (they have a Facebook page) and they have nothing solid either.

Artilleryman are the flags in the Vitoria Bde pack for the 7th Division?

My initial answer was with regard to the 28mm product. The speculation about the Chasseurs Britanniques (CB) colours is about right and the GMB estimate is probably as good as any other. The CBs liked to think of themselves as light infantry so not having colours would be par for the course.

In the 15mm range, there are two brigade packs for the 7th Division at Vittoria. They look good, but they do not quite match the information I have on the 7th at the battle (no CB etc.) Though the Portuguese are elsewhere and some units not carrying colours may account for the absences.

What does the 28mm version look like?
