I finished a dozen of these using mostly Citadel Contrast paint. No extra highlighting of any kind – just Templar Black over sprayed Wraithbone primer:

They are a very manacing bunch and I have used them in several armies. Very good "command" wolves if that makes sense. |

Great job with painting and photos. The shadows from the flash shots work very well. I get the impression that the wolves have tripped a motion sensor and thus had their picture taken in the middle of the night. The bases really work with the playing surface, too. I can never see wolves or other natural predators as particularly evil, though. They're dangerous, because we might be food or competition, but basically they're out there providing for their families. |

Aah! That's a great looking wolfpack! |

Wow, they would be very good for Post-Apocalyptic settings. Maybe feral dogs gone totally wild. |

Thanks all! Yeah – wolves in the real world can't be evil. In tabletop games, however, they certainly can! Who knows what real or imagined malevolence drives them? Blue Moon labeled these as "European Timber Wolves" so I left that in so folks can quickly find them, but otherwise they'll suit any number of purposes as commenters have suggested. |

Great miniatures, and terrific results on your paint job. I was unaware of these. I love Blue Moon (especially their Old West stuff). Seems I'll have to pick some of these up! |
