Can you get Reaper paints? Or Foundry? I don't like any of the Vallejo blues for this. I think Vinnie here gets it exactly right – start with a navy or a sea blue as your base:

Vallejo's own 16-colour paint set No.11 – GUERRA CIVIL USA – had the following numbers: 807, 844, 845, 865, 877, 896, 907, 908, 925, 928, 940, 950, 951, 953, 961, 990. Of these – 70.807 Oxford Blue and 70.844 Deep Sky Blues appear to be the intended Union colours. |

I use the same combination that ACWBill recommends. I'm v very pleased with it. |
