During the reign of Seleucus II, the eastern provinces of Parthia and Bactria sought independence from the empire. In 238 BC, Seleucus did mount an expedition to deal with the recalcitrant provinces. In all three tests the enlarged command of 24 elements was used which played out quite well.

A report with photos can be found at the blog as are the number of turns and time needed to reach a decision.

Very useful post showing one of the greatest strengths of DBA 3: the ability to enable very fast games of quite reasonable size.
Not many rules can average 1 hour per game with 24 elements on each side.
At the Durban Historygamers we also often play 24 elements as 1 command. Very useful if one has 3 players.
