I know this has been asked before but right now I can't seem to lay my hands on the correct thread. I'm looking for an online source with WWII TO&E down to Brigade/Battalion/Company level for the major players US, UK, USSR, Germany etc. I have some books with details like Jentz and Zetterling for Kursk and Normandy but I was hoping there might be one source with everything. Appreciate your help! L

Not brigade or above but Bayonetstrength is a nice online resource

This comes up often. As far as I know there is no one comprehensive source. At the level you're looking at the TO&E's changed a lot, so you are looking at a LOT of information!

The link from Starfury starts promising but it looks like most of the actual pages are dead.

Brilliant news that Gary's Bayonet Strength website has been resurrected!

World War II Armed Forces site, based on Niehorster, contains a lot of detail.
Another site is
panzer world.
I have converted a number of the niehorster to&es into a diagram form, which is posted on IO:group Game Design Theory
