I got a great set of hills from a Kickstarter they ran a year or two ago, no issues. If it is a terrain piece, they are custom made. |

I just received an order from Emperor Toad Emporium -- it was 48 of their new Vendeans which I had pre-ordered. I am very happy with the miniatures! I ordered 48 figures and they were very well-packed. They have incredible variation (I think there must have been at least 24 pose/weapon combinations). The figures were well cleanly cast with almost no need for clean up. As part of the pre-order, I received some of their bocage which are also very nice. Excellent products -- I will be ordering again. |

I ordered trees and fences and it took a while for the order to get to the U.S. I understand the stuff is handmade so I expected a wait. However, I'm very pleased with the result – well worth the wait. |

I made a big order a little over a year ago on some of his FB specials, it took over seven months to get the first river set then a month and a half later I got the second river set. It's been over a year now and I am still waiting on the other half of my order which consists of several sets of hedges, trees, and a field. Very rare that I get a reply to my requests for the status of the rest of my order. Last week I emailed requesting he send the rest of my items or issue a refund…crickets… |

Going on 2 years now without the rest of my order being sent. Has said numerous times he was sending out. By the looks of the comments on his FB page a lot of people have been taken. He continues to post sales etc, then has very poor to no communication, and will not issue refund. Or stops communicating at all. Do not fall victim to this business avoid it like the plague! |

As of 26/06/2023 the Emperor Toads Emporium – Revolutionary War range of 28mm models is now owned and produced directly by Skytrex Miniatures. These models can be found through the link below: link …As part of this process outstanding orders were fulfilled by Skytrex and shipped out to customers based on information from the previous owner. If you have an outstanding order and have not yet received it then this may mean the details were not passed across. Re Emperor Toad; I thought it worth letting him know, via an eBay message, that such messages were widespread on TMP to see if he wanted to respond. He asked me to pass on his response, to say that family and health issues mean he will indeed be packing up the business very shortly. It sounds as though he is in a rough patch and facing the inevitable commercial pressures, but is trying to deal with backlog of orders! |
