While I was in the early stages of this new boat build we lost a very popular gamer out east. I am dedicating this new boat the P Class Gunboat in honor of Mr. Pritchard. This boat is a little larger than what I usually build but there seemed to be a lot of talk about some other eras where a craft like this could be used. I hope you enjoy the writeup. Last Stand Dan

Outstanding boats. Nice and big for 28mm. I have one of Richard Houston's gun boats. It is a beautiful model but it is more like true 25mm or 20mm. Do you do commission work?

Wow, that is incredible work.

Great work! I would let those boats mow down my Boxer hordes any day

Dan, that's beautiful. And well armed! She should be able to give a good account of herself against those infernal Mahdist gunboats and dhows. For Khedive and Queen!

There is a memorial service for Bill tomorrow night in his hometown of Holbrook Mass, I will be sure and show your tribute to his brother Bob.
Thank you for that, Bill was a great friend, mentor, and a wonderful human being.

Beautiful work and a fine tribute. RIP Mr. Pritchard.

Bill was a good friend and a good human being. He loved his friends and was totally captivated by wargaming and history. Almost everything he did revolved around some aspect of our hobby. We will be honoring Bill Pritchard this Saturday evening at our general assembly meeting during our HMGS-South convention HurriCon, in the main ballroom. We will be paying tribute to him and another fine gentleman and friend Doc Gallagher who ironically passed away two days after Bill. These fine gentleman have left a lasting legacy with all who knew them. It saddens me to know that I will never sit at their tables again nor they at mine! There will be some empty chairs and empty tables this weekend….

That is lot of work with a great payout.

Beautiful job on your new P Class gunboats, Dan, and a very nice tribute to Bill Pritchard. Well done, my friend. I only knew Bill from a cross-continental distance via SgtGuinness, but for the past decade he and I had a good-natured rivalry re: certain terrain items on eBay, which Bill dominated in a big way. Wish I'd had a chance to play a game with him using his terrain and mine together. Maybe some day.
