What truck models are available in 15mm? What are they like? How do they measure up?
See The Reviews Page on my 20th Century blog. It is currently the top of the page.
Which is your favourite? Phil P.B.Eye-Candy |

Thanks for that, Phil, very useful. Regarding the metal & resin BF truck, I found it was actually cheaper to buy the kit that gives you the truck and an AAHMG. You get the truck at a lower price per unit than the 2-pack, plus you get the MG for free! That said, I think you sold me on the Zvezda one, if I can find a good US source for them. Mark |

I have a good number of the Zvezda. I agree a very good value for the money. However getting those hoods to fold right was a bit of a nightmare. Someone mentioned they may have corrected that. I was able to buy them for less than $3 USD a piece at one point but my go to for Zvezda no longer carries that manufacturer. |

Very interesting, I've been eyeing up Butler's stuff for awhile as source of cheapish softskins, but yet to take the plunge. |

Yes, Marc33594, I reported the improved 'hoods' (bonnets, as we say over here) back in late 2016
(bottom row of sprue) Giving an easier build …
I subsequently got some of the older sort (so there must have been many many boxes of the earlier ones out in the supply network – but I'd have thought by now it would be safe to buy again Phil P.B.Eye-Candy |

I've been eyeing up Butler's stuff for awhile as source of cheapish softskins, but yet to take the plunge. Chris at NQM is a big fan … have a look at his introduction to the range for a less sceptical view than mine … Phil |

Ah Phil, many thanks. It has been awhile since I purchased them as you can tell. Though we should have a special club for those of us who suffered through trying to bend the hood (bonnet) only to have some develop that nasty split. Marc |
