I'm thinking in like cowboy rustle games or any other game that has livestock in them. Has anyone used living livestock. If you get the right sized beatle, glue on some cotton you got perfect sheep. Slightly larger beetle and some red teddy bear fur and you got highland cattle. Perfect highland cattle rustler games. |

Live? Has to at one to one scale so far. Otherwise priority would be to have those 1000s of minis which could finally move by themselves.😏 |

I once had an ant crawl across the mortar firing template. No I didn't. I made it up. |

My friend had a cat we called Flank March Kitty as he jumped on the table and watched the game from whatever patch of the field was clear. We did our best to prevent his participation…. |

A Friend of mine used a foolish fly that landed in a terrain piece that was dry. He just painted it and dry brushed over for a cool effect. |

Flashman14 – Why would PETA be interested? After all doesn't it stand for People Eating Tasty Animals? |

Slightly larger beetle and some red teddy bear fur and you got highland cattle. You should know that historically highland cattle were black. The red/brown type are a modern feature. |

I considered using dead beetles, as giant beetles for my fantasy games. Unfortunately, they crumble with even a light touch, once they dry out. Plastic and rubber insects, from Michael's, work so much better. ;-) Cheers! |

I should keep the Wetas that I occasionally find migrating indoors. They would scale out in 28mm to a comparable size to those seen in Peter Jacksons King Kong. (I think that was his intent) |

I would love to have some 15mm cows or sheep for farms on the battlefield, of course they would end up as food for which ever side took that farm. |

TMP link Way down at the bottom of "SCENERY" When a unit sights a stand (of chickens, hogs, sheep, or cattle) they must make a (morale?) roll to not quit fighting and go after their dinner. They are then unusable for X number of turns but will return to combat with a (morale? +1 well fed) bonus. |
