OH yes, I did grin.

The animation is superb. I almost mean the camel, more than the rider.

But the New Policy says we must add content. OK, let me try.

Incredible skill in painting rider and mount.

En parade.

The chap on the critter is very pale and clean shaven . He is "en parade" head to foot and spotless. Not a fleck of sand anywhere.

Tango, you did great to find this and there was never a problem with such (as far as I understood). This is a figure with added content..it is painted now

maybe it would be a better idea to post such collector miniatures on the painting board?

I gave up on painting display figures in 54mm and larger long ago. I just could not match skill like this, and never had the time to learn. My interest in warfare and Napoleonics was most helpful in consulting to American industry – leadership examples; loyalty; discipline

I really enjoy seeing pictures like this on the Napoleonic Gallery or Discussion page, for the offer new perspective on old subjects.

In the last century, I knew an elderly Russian collector who had these troops in flats. They work fore-and-aft bicorns, had baggy Mameluk trousers, and other differences.
