I generally use the North Star ones: link

They have a flat leaf-shaped head and I cut them to length.

These are 100mm but are dirt cheap and can be cut down with wire cutters. I have used these for years.

North Star all the way. I cut them down for 15mm troops, too, using the offcut bits for pinning minis and such.
