We have the Norwegian version on tv and the English one on Netflix.
Brilliantly pythonesque humor at times, like the perfect English monk you just know is going to be violently murdered. Or the chieftain trying to explain he was the active partner while he was raped so he did not loose honour.
Or the wife who wanted to be raped by the jarl so she could get some proper seed in her. |

By Source, Fair use, link Just kidding! In response to the OP, I watched and enjoyed Norsemen in English on Netflix. I enjoyed one of the reviews that said (more or less) Norsemen is generally more historically accurate than Vikings, the show it was created to spoof! |

It is a funny show, especially if you watch the current crop of Viking shows, and know anything about Viking stereotypes. |

Well they are, they recently filmed some stuff at Midgard Viking centre in Vestfold, using the Viking town that has been built there, and I think using some reenactors. |
