I've had a lot of fun using Contrast paints for a bunch of ethereal models from various places. This is among the last of them – numbering well over 50 when I finish. That's a lot of painting for me and it couldn't have been done without the speed by tackling these mostly uni-dimensional models. Further, I did have to paint in a traditional layering manner things like eyes, bags, bases, etc.

And to just see all of the ethereal creatures, look here (I have a different Reaper Wraith as well as the LOTR Shade from Games Workshop I put up just this morning) – almost 50 different models here so far: link

Along the way are tips and suggestions, including potential trouble spots – all with illustrated results so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

I'm starting a second batch of models – this time using the browns and black and gray again for all the werewolf and wolfy things I have lying around so stay tuned!

I think it is all great work. Certainly beyond my ability.
