I have just previewed my FV438 t commision from AOTRS Shipyards. Alex did pose an interesting question during the sculpting. The sensor mast is very small, so small that it cannot use a Key lock to keep it in place and trun, and so small infact that its nearly too small to print but not quite. The question is of interest. Having discussed it my decision, perhaps a bit contary to my pragmatic self was:-

Make the mast separate in raised and lowered standards and make them removable. The reasoning I used was this. The model looks more convincinG with a mast, it is too small to see which way its pointing even if it could rotate. However It can be "fixed in" discreely with Blue Tack which means that should I need to, its a trivial job to paint and relace just a mast.

These are the sorts of interesting questions a sculptor in 3D has to address if you are to get the best possible model.

When can you have one? I have no idea but it will be available I guess in a few monthes. If you pester Alex maybe sooner. I have the model I want and am not precious about other folk profiting from my investment.
