Once again, inexplicably, North Piddle, England is the center of the horrific secret War of 1895, "The War of the Witches." It has been discovered in the ruins of the Tamblin-Goggin manor house, next to Piddle (snicker) Brook and the British Railway line to North Piddle is the secret headquarters of The Black Brotherhood AKA the Cult of Doom!!!

Frankly, what with witches, pagan cults, monsters, wild supernatural animals, murderers and spoiled eggs, I don't know why *anyone&* lives in rural England.

I had the occasion to drive from the Lake District to Tynemouth a couple of years ago, and the narrow hedge-lined roads, blind curves, and speeding trucks -- excuse me, lorries -- were so frightening that I was soon positively longing for an encounter with a witch, cult, or murderer, just to be somewhere relatively safe for a few hours!

British Railways didn't exist until 1948. In the 1890s it'd been one of the numerous railway companies that operated over the UK.

I have to chuckle when we worry about the name of the railroad, when we're dealing with The Cult of Doom And the war of the witches :-)

The rules are In Her Majesty's Name.

I have only a few problems with this game

1)Tintin wasn't alive in 1895
2)The train is not an English one
3)The police phone box didn't exist in 1895
4)The Black Brotherhood dress in red (!)

but most importantly

5)I didn't get to play!

Great looking game, looks like a lot of fun thumbs up
