Whilst browsing back through images of my painting over the last 14 years or so I came across the AWI collection I painted around 12 years ago using the Peter Pig range. These were sold on to a customer who purchased both armies and commissioned more! I remain very proud of the standard I achieved back then and having found these images thought I would share them here.

I still rate the PP figures highly, they have such character.

Hope you like them!

Lee.

It is a great range, I believe very complete now.

Lee that is good and then good some more!
Could these terrific images be used in the next edition of the 15 MILL, with a bit of commentary from yourself?

thanks

The range is still being added to however. I picked up the Indians with bows and the Indian heads, along with a pack of continentals in hunting shirts to put them on, at Reading this weekend.

Wow! Those are beautifully done!

Great work. It is a very nice range, and probably the most complete 15mm range out there.

Yes, very well done.

Thank you guys for the comments. I spent a couple of years painting Peter Pig figures and they are indeed wonderful with a style all of their own.

Martin, glad you like them :) I have loads more images of the PP AWI's and you would be most welcome to use any of them to help promote the range…. not that it needs promoting!

Another thing I did was to create a Commands & Colours scratch build board which I crammed with small unit bases. Again I sold it on, which is what I tend to do, my pleasure has always been in the painting.

Couple of pics of that one below….. a Pigfest possibly?

Cheers,

Lee.

Back in 2013 before I built the terrain set up above I used to play an AWI version of Commands and Colours on the board using a single Peter Pig figure to replace each wooden block. I must have painted hundreds and hundreds of them over the years.

OK,I'm sorry I'll get my coat now, I'm sure you are all Pigged out!
