My team is going to be developing a high-level simulation for a foreign military (this is not DoD). This is not going to be a war game. It's going to be an exercise simulating how the different civilian factions and refugees are impacted by urban combat operations with an emphasis on what drives non-combatants decisions and actions and how supporting services and NGO's can impact their loyalties, decisions, and results. I'm looking to talk to anyone that was involved in battles like Fallujah or working with government or NGO's in Syria/Aleppo or Africa. Also, anyone that worked as a contractor or Civil Affairs at FOB's that had a lot of interaction with local nationals, especially helping refugees. I'm especially interested in people that are from Europe/NATO countries and local nationals that served as an interpreter for civilian or military organizations. Contact me at stevedrg AT g m a i l DOT c o m Feel free to send questions. Wolfhag |

George Nafzinger and I went on numerous iterations teaching Various African countries'Battalion Staffs Peacekeeping skills (both soldier skills and Battalion Staffs) how to function in a Peacekeeping mode (teaching UN Charter). Was a puckster using company commanders as a tool to evaluate battalion staff functions; role played several characters, including MSF concerns at Civil Action Meetings, NEO exercises, Support to NGO operations, etc. George helped write and execute scenarios and training objectives as Exercise OPCON. How could I help, Steve? |

Dye, What a small world. I met George last month at the Army War College. We have a mutual friend in Dana Lombardy. My son is the one running this project but I think he'd like to talk to you. Send me an email and we can discuss it offline. Wolfhag |
