Just started reading the Strugatsky brothers Roadside Picnic. This is the book Tartovsky's movie Stalker was based on. Great atmosphere.

Hi Nnascati,

I really think that anyone who has tried the STALKER game and Tarkovski's film and all the off-shoots to The Zone should read Roadside Picnic. As you say there is a great atmosphere and the hostile terrain elements could make a sci-fi ground wargame truely interesting.

I just finished it, really interesting.
