Totally agree with your thoughts about the rules on your blog. We also quite like the Cold War version, Seven Days To The River Rhine.

Although I think your table puts most of our games to shame! Very nice terrain!

Who makes the various buildings you are using, especially the half-timbered ones?

Hi Thresher
Buildings are a mix of MDF types from various companies, some buildings are card (I got off EBay) and others plastic railway stuff all collected over last 40+ years !
As to actual company names I have forgotten (age thing)
I like variety
