Thank you for the kind words. There is very little discussion about SAGA on this forum which I find odd given its apparent diversity

Nice game Joe and a fun read.

I don't know about elsewhere but at my club almost everyone bought into Saga when it first came out. Then Lion Rampant was published and we all tried that. Five years on we all still play LR but nobody plays Saga anymore. For most of us, Saga felt too much like a boardgame with a token figure gaming element, LR is no more historically accurate, but we think it's more fun. Personal choices I suppose.
