Where/how can you get a copy of the Helion book on Fornovo? Love to get a copy but it's not yet published? |

No. I've just been in conversation over Messenger with the editor and it's probably due out sometime in November. It can be pre-ordered from Helion here: link Kind Regards |

Condottiere, I think it will be well worth the read. I've been asked to review it so there must be a high level of confidence from the authors/editor. He's also into wargaming/painting etc. Kind Regards My Blogs: Gewalthaufen (Late Medieval?Early Renaissance): gewalthaufen.blogspot.com La Journee (Mainly HYW): lajourney-bedford.blogspot.com Shooting Leave (Colonial): allthebrave.blogspot.com Just Add Water Blog (Painting, Modelling etc) link |

I do like the Battle of Fornovo for a DBR or DBA Big battle game that is not just line them up at each other across the table and go forward. Having a battle with the armies at a 90° angle to each other very interesting. I've done it a few times. See some here link |

It's an idea that I could toy with for a while though my instinct is to fight it as close to possible to the historical event. At least in terms of military goals. Thanks for the suggestion and as I said, it's something I will consider.
