on page 119 plate 20 of Windrow and Embleton's Military dress of the Peninsular war there's a picture of a poorly equipped French conscript wearing the bonnet de police does any manufacturer make this figure? in 15mm?

Since posting I've found this bad boy, a Gladiator miniatures model.

Difficult to see from the photo the quality and it's only the one pose ;( I dare say the figure won't mix with ABs

For 25/28mm, some of these might work: link

Go for the bonnet de police and not the horrible pokalem that replaced it. I think the Gladiator Models figure is the latter

AB,

That would be great!

A couple of variants, perhaps one in a waistcoat/habit or similar would be a fantastic addition to the range!

Mr Barton,

For 1814 Garde Nationale in bluse would be great (variants with shakos, civilian hats, bonnets de police)

The OP wants 15mm, but I'd say that ignoring the shako hatted dudes some of those FR would be good for dumbing down the Austrian landwehr as well.

Have a look at PN76, 77, and 78. Essex miniatures.

Hey Tony, any chance you'll get around to doing Vistula Legion infantry? Would like to see them.

But here is the snag……Everyone thinks Vistula Legion infantry all wore the czapka.

No, only the grenadiers companies did and it causes much upset when folk get it right with new models.

Plus I stress I know nothing at all outside events on 18.06.15 (the UK way version of saying it. Took me ages to understand why everyone talked about 9/11, when it happened on 11/9 in our calendar)
