This coming Saturday a Napoleonic gaming day, organized by Todd Fisher and history professor Steven Fratt of HMGS, is on the docket. Dubbed "The Emperor's Birthday", it's being held at Trinity International University (Melton Hall 2065 Half Day Road Bannockburn,IL 60015). Doors open at 7am. Gaming times are scheduled in 4-hour blocks: 8am-noon, 1pm to 5pm, etc. with breaks for lunch and dinner. Doors close at midnight.

See link for further details:

Here is Professor Fratt's description of the event:

I will be offering a 6mm Ligny 1815, using my new "The Victory Is Ours!" rules. We will also have a day-long Jena/Auerstadt game. Lutzen, Dresden, Quatre Bras, Mockern, and Neumarkt will also be presented. Sharpe's Rifles – a skirmish game and a naval encounter are also on the list.

David Enstenes will run a demo for Et Sans Result. The guys from Milwaukee are bringing their 5mm blocks and their gorgeous 18mm and 28mm painted flats. They will also have on display 90mm cardboard flats from Walkerloo.

Pre-registration is available – contact me at sfratt@tiu.edu and I will send a form. You may use PayPal to pay Steve Fratt $10. USD It will be $12 USD at the door. Remember there are great places to eat in the area and Hawkins Hall right in the same building is very reasonable – all you can eat buffet for $10 USD-15.
