They are definitely Earsling's one's, they work well with a few modifications scaled to 6mm

How wonderful, and love the Trumpton comment :)

But clearly the technology is moving on, even these would not have been possible a few years back. I believe 3D printing technology will be a game changer within our hobby. Imagine the above figures digitally sculpted by a commercial designer!

I think my 3D printed Royal Horse Artillery officer is an example of what can be done already – 3D printed painted resin in 40mm scale.

Yes, your 40mm is showing the future for 54 as well I think. I followed your links but the cost per figure was significant higher than you mentioned, which stopped me dead. I guess you got yours via a friendly source, compared to the public facing pricing. But I am confident the 54 market will get there at some point
