How many points is the new standard? 1500 points was roughly the old standard in FOW V3, so I am trying to get my bearings straight. |

The points in TY are drastically smaller. A starting box set gives you about 50 points of Forces. I think the new standard is 100 points. Dave |

Guys in my group played with this amount of points on the recommended table size. It results in the classic FOW parking lot effect. |

I think 64-75 is better. Not as much stuff, you have to make some choices rather than have it all, but enough points that the expensive NATO kit can play. The quick play missions are 50 points, which is good for Soviets but NATO has really small forces if they take front line armor. |

Use 1/144th, or 1/285th – 1/300 scale minis. |

Smaller scale is definitely better |

We play 60 points no Air no AA for an evening game at the club on a 6 x 4 table. Weekend all day games – 200-300 points on a 12 x 6 table. |
