She lost her clothes and has turned blue from cold. Love her shoes and leg warmers. Hate her gigantic styrofoam sword. (If it's steel, it will be too heavy for her to lift, much less swing.) If my rudimentary Swedish is correct, her name means "Norse", like the language. |

I get tired of beautifully sculpted and painted models of women warriors wearing ridiculous outfits--or none at all, carrying ridiculously huge swords, axes etc. With that sword and no protection, I can imagine other ways she could have lost her nipples… |

If my rudimentary Swedish is correct, her name means "Norse", like the language. "Norwegian" actually. It can also mean "Norwegian woman", which is possibly more apposite. |
