I did not even follow the link. This is the rubbish we now see in UK on Satellite TV, or Cable for US I guess. "Nazis' Mega….." some nonsense. Never Germans'…always Nazis' or Hitler's. Sells better. If the Luftwaffe had come up with an Eagle F15 in 1945….it still had to land. P51 on its tail, fuel running low. Bammmm. Never mind the simple problem of fuel and maintenance Even an Eagle has to slow down to land. Like an Me262 or Komet 163….. Gun cameras show that they had to land eventually, with a P51 or Tempest behind them on a nice straight approach (no choice there) Nayatakakakak…… Bammmmmmmm…splat (thank God) |

Well, actually the link started with a pre-war design (Lockheed L-133 "Starjet" jet fighter) and went on to showcase 1946 US aircraft (F-80, F-82, B-36, B-45, & B-50). Some good shots of these aircraft. No Foo-fighters. |
