Following a trip to the National Army Museum earlier this year to hear Mr Ian Knight talk about the Zulu Wars, Mr Steve paid a visit to the Regimental Museum of the 24th Foot and put together a post about the visit.
If you would like to see more about the museum and his impression, then just follow the link to JJ's link Jonathan (JJ) |

Very nice! That Zulu looks suitably menacing. I would love to visit that museum and have a dekka! |

With 3000 medals in the medal room, there must have been stuff about other wars than the Zulu war as well. I think it might be interesting to know more about the exploits before and after the Zulu war. |

The 24th was at Saratoga, I just learned from a visit there this summer. This is something I love about this hobby, spotting units over time and space. |
