Thought the thread said something about a snowflake offensive … It sounded like a very aggressive winter weather report to me … snowflake

Sure. If you say so.

If you bleep the word snowflake it's going to make discussions of winter terrain creation unintentionally hilarious.

Other than that, as pretentious and authoritarian as I find a certain member's posts that are all over this thread, another member more aptly points out that the use of the word as an insult is already quite clearly against the rules as Bill has presented them. That seems pretty cut and dried, Bill, by your own standard.

It's use in an argument is really no better than calling someone a racist if they simply disagree with your position.

A sense of humor helps too. Imagine how many times us former military have been called names and "offended". I'm immune and try to keep it mature.

thumbs up

Snowflake is obviously not the same as Nazi or Fascist.
I've be called both here, by some who are no longer with us as Bill them locked out … But I never have been called a snowflake evil grin But did spend 2 winters in the ROK in the Army. More like blocks of ice

As I posted on another thread here :

Having a good sense of humor when dealing to internet trolls(idiots, morons, juveniles, Bleeped text , Bleeped text , Bleeped text ) is a plus !

Isnt this a similar practice that is leading to the demise of face-mywayorfacemywrath-book?

Some people think Facebook is the future of wargaming. I think not!

Hell, I'm usually my own biggest critic, some of the names I call myself would curl yer toes.

Let's hope not Bill ! But some of the new "young Turks", as tech advances sometimes try to "reinvent the wheel" so to speak. But I do visit some specific FB pages & here daily … regardless. All about wargaming of course. Generally much else on FB is Bleeped text

Unless I want to see an eateries' menu or something like that ! pizza donut evil grin
