So far the Mountain's Men are mostly done. I still have to do the standard and their movement tray. They are pretty nice figures, it seems like there is a lot of stuff in the box to help you play the game, pretty much everything you need for the unit.
I'm going to try to finish the standard and the Mountain himself today. He is a monstrous model, on horseback he is about as big as the giants, which doesn't seem quite right.
These guys were nice to paint. I tried to do them in muted tones as they were underlings and not noble warriors. The Mountain himself will be in brighter yellows and blues and I'll probably give his armour more of a shine.

I like them. Very nice. Thank you for posting, was not aware they were even available. A very expensive find ;) Kevin |

They are pretty nice figures. They aren't badly priced either. You get all 12 of these guys for $30. USD Which seems pretty reasonable given that they probably have to pay a fee to license them. Here they are finished up with their bannerman and their movement tray.
And here is their boss:
My biggest gripe about them is that the Mountain is cast on his horse. He is also huge, as big as the giants just about. |

Painting continues apace on this project. Next up are the Giants and the White Cloaks. I still have to Jeoffrey for the White Cloaks boxed set but Jaime and the rest are here.
I really like the second giant more than the first. He just seems to be so much more poised. Also his stick doesn't have some amorphous mass tied to it.
The White Cloaks had me really wanting to paint a design on the shield but all the things I could find from the game didn't show anything but white shields.
Nothing really remarkable about these guys, they are well sculpted minis in full plate armour. They are done in nice poses for guys guarding a king.
