Is it possible to do 3x3 or 4x4 planes each side on a 6'x 4' table using 1/200 scale planes? Can a 6' x 4' table handle a squadron vs squadron engagement using 1/285 planes? |

Depending on the rules that is enough for 20+ planes on a side. Black Cross Blue Sky (something like that) can handle it. |

Playing Bag the Hun a 6x4 table can handle 20 1/200 scale planes?….I didn't think that would give enough room for maneuvering? |

1/300th, or smaller scales, like 1/600th would be better, in my opinion. Smaller battles will be best. Squadron sized engagements would be best with 1/600th scale minis on this size of table. Using larger minis with that many aircraft (squadrons) will be pushing it, and maneuvering room will be very tight, in my opinion. I wouldn't use aircraft larger than 1/300th for squadron sized battles on a 6' x 4' table. If you can get a folding, ping-pong table, that'll almost double your playing area. |

My playing surface is limited to 6x4 Nothing wrong with having multiple scales :) |

Blood red Skies uses 1:200 planes, and a 6 vs 6 engagement fits easily on a 4 foot square table. |

Played a "Sturmovik Commander" campaign a few years ago on a table that size-- some games with up to 8 a/c per side (all in 1/285- 1/300). No problem. |
