Hi guys,

picture

I've just built myself a DIY static grass applicator, inspired by several YouTube videos. I enjoyed making it. But I'm not sure it's really working very effectively.

Here's the post on my blog;

… any comments and/or advice would be very welcome!

I'd heard that the handheld devices weren't powerful enough, so I looked around on YouTube and found a video that showed how to make a "Flock Box". I followed the directions and it turned out great. Works like a charm. The 2mm and 4mm static grass I bought stand up nice and straight.

If interested, go to YouTube and search for: Make a Flock Box!

The channel is The Tabletop Spot.

It was a bit of work but the end result was worth it.
Good Luck.

Thanks Blackhorse, I'll check that Flock Box out. My little fly-swatter applicator didn't seem to do much. And anyway, it's fallen apart a little! Easy to fix. But I might just check out your suggestion first. Cheers, Sebastian
