Some decisions are hard to make. Normandy for instance, whether to go or not on June 6th. My father had walked across Belgium and into Germany in the 99th. Inf. Div. and was waiting to be re-deployed to the Pacific. This is not a comment of right or wrong, just don't take past decisions out of context when discussing them today. Sorry, August 6th. 1945. My daughter's birthday is August 5th. |
