Hi All!

A mate hosted a Siege at Glenrowan scenario for us last week. The figures were 28mm, his terrain was gorgeous and the rules used were Tribal/Brutal. Not sure who 'won' the game but we all had a hoot playing it!

The Kelly Gang in armour despite being virtually immobile were almost impervious to the small arms fire of the Police, at the games end only one had been taken out (Joe Byrne) but the other three were all 'severely' wounded.

Our Police force instead of standing back and blasting the Kelly Gang 'got stuck in' and so a bloodbath ensued! A rough count of casualties came up as 18 Police/Trackers/Volunteers, one Kelly Gang member and seven Hostages being killed/disabled. The three remaining Gang members were wounded as were Sergeant Steele and Senior Constable Kelly.

In the end the Police had occupied the Glenrowan Hotel and apprehended Dan Kelly and Steve Hart while the wounded Ned Kelly fled finding (temporary I suspect) refuge in the bush…

Inspector Hare's men advancing on the Glenrowan Hotel. In the background in front of the Hotel Ned in full armour can be seen, he dueled it out with the Police while the rest of the Gang retreated into the Hotel…

Ned and Sub-inspector O'Connor engaging in a bit of biffo just before Steve Hart shoots O'Connor in the back finishing him…a dastardly act…
