Great fun at Miniature Market in St. Louis playing our "Old Salts" version of Cruel Seas. The IJN was attempting to locate and repair a damaged minesweeper in the inlet while USN forces were trying to finish off the crippled vessel.

Nice. I played Cruel Seas for the first time at ORIGINS. Got a starter and the IJN and US Fleets there…. |

Looks great! Thanks for sharing your game report and photos. Love that sea mat. |

Fitz, that looks so very cool, and looks like Will H. put together an interesting encounter. Now at the game day, this table was covered with a full-length sheet of tissue paper at the start, so that I never got the chance to admire the setup….. Nice now to see the wrapping pulled back, and read about 'what went down'. |

Who makes the sea mat? The surface wave patterns may be a bit much for smaller scales, but for 600 it looks spot on. |

Thresher01 & KPinder the mat was provided by FlyXwire for this game. He sorta takes care of all of us, helping out with needed parts for our games. As I understand the mat was a digital file that he enhanced a bit and had printed on banner material at a commercial print shop. |
