In answer to The Angry Piper's Terrain Challenge I got started on my first project for August. More details here link

Nice work. I would have gone crazy doing all that stone work by hand.

nnascati, I find it oddly therapeutic, much like putting rivets on the boat models I build, some Vivaldi, a good bourbon, and lose yourself in the method……

Cheaper that a psychotherapist and none of the judgement ;)

Vivaldi and bourbon. I'll have to try that. Might be better than Handel and Weihenstephaner.

bobspruster,
I don't know, perhaps I should look into pairing the music/libation/model into a "themed" trio.

Like mariachi/tequila/adobe when I'm working on Southwest shoot-out stuff.

Or Red Army Choir/vodka/Berlin'45 for an "end of WW2" theme

I will have to give it a try and see how it works out!

Recently got a taste for Red wine and Leonard Cohen. Donīt get much painting done though.

Ramones and Coca-Cola. Don't get much drinking done, though.

I took a different approach last night; Red Bull and Hair Band LPs, things went a lot faster link
