Hi all

Given the broad similarities of the uniforms has anyone used these interchangeably? Any tips on units that match between Flanders and Iberia in terms if facings etc?

Really depends on what you are doing. Using them as stand ins for a game in 1815 or painting them. If you are painting them as DB then there are differences and plenty of DB figures available to buy.

Portuguese could be a stand in for a game if you didn't want to paint units of DB.

I have created diverse command / colours stands for units that could be used variously..
For example, my Victrix French have been painted as Neapolitans, but have extra command bases for Spanish and even Italians, together with the appropriate flags, thus employing all those extra command figures!
I've also used Victrix metal Portuguese as Prussian Reserve troops, with added Perry Landwehr command figures. Works great.
Believe me, when you're struggling to hold off the enemy, you don't peer too closely at uniform details, and the command figs, coupled with appropriate flags, contribute to visual credibility, flexibility, and a bit of cash – saving to boot.
