I was swamped by the response to my AAR regarding One Hour Wargames and our rules mods so, rather than email them to everybody, I thought that I would just post them on my blog link These are the working copy, as new bits are added they will be highlighted in yellow to make them noticeable Input is welcomed, I will be happy to answer questions but please put them in the comments section of the blog so other people can see them as well. |

Anton Very interesting. I took the view that if I wanted to do the line/column thing and go into greater detail I would use his main Napoleonic rules. I tried to keep the one hour rules as pared to the bone as possible to use for bigger battles where this would not be an issue. That's why I nicked ideas from Volley & Bayonet! |

"Wargaming, an Introduction" by the same author has a nice set of slightly more complicated rules for Napoleonics that I like as well. Includes army lists and a sample game. |

The artillery rules are better – not abstracted as in the Nappy rules. Sorry Anton, I'll leave you alone now! |

Jeffers, no problem, this is all about a free exchange of ideas (in other words if you have a better idea I am happy to steal it!) I am wide open to suggestions; this is The Housemartin's project so I have no ego involved about making amendments |
