We will be fighting the Battle of Minden (August 1, 1759) this weekend to celebrate the 260th anniversary of the battle. The game will be played with nearly 3,000 figures (28mm and 30mm) over three tables measuring 6ft by 36ft. The rules used will be Batailles dans l'Ancien Regime (or "B.A.R." for short). The first red squadron on the far left, of 12 figures (three stands deep) , are Elite Miniatures French cavalry. The next two squadrons are a mix of Elite and I think some Eureka Saxon cavalry. All of the blue figures on the far right are Elite Miniatures. There might be some Stadden and Suren figures mixed in too. All of the French are part of Major General Pettygree's collection. |

Yes, cavalry are probably the best figures in the Elite SYW figure range. |

It's along way but an aeroplane would make it easy and you could perhaps bring some of your BAR units! You and I have not seen each other and crossed swords since Millennium Con a decade or so ago! Too long. Cheers,
