There's a series of portraits of actors in old military uniforms, the first I was aware of was Bill Murray. Would I be correct in thinking that the uniforms are based on those of Prussian generals of the Napoleonic Wars? |

I believe they are actually based on a series of portraits of Russian generals who participated in the 1812 campaign. They just substitute the celebrity's face for the original. I, for one, would follow Bill Murray into Hell. |

That would make sense as the post 1808 Prussian army uniforms were heavily influenced by Russian military fashion. |
