Hello all, I'm in the middle of a 15mm Taiping project at the moment, and while I have got a few of the Irregular and Khurasan Qing figures I was curious if there was anyone else doing Qing in 15mm. In particular, I was wondering if anyone else did spearmen (the Khurasan packs are just too archer-heavy), musketeers (I find the Irregulars a bit too mustachioed and it's quite a lot of effort to shave them off) and cavalry? |

Have you considered using figures from Boxer Rebellion ranges? |

That's a point – I'd been planning to use Boxers for provincial militias but I hadn't considered that some could be usd as regulars. Any recommendations? |

Are the Irregular and Khurusan ranges nicely compatible? |

At a distance I think they should be fine – I've taken a couple of photos so you can have a look for yourself: imgur.com/8C8XVNO imgur.com/hzSgy4W The musketeers, officer, the two spearmen and the archer in the back row and the flag bearer are Irregular, the swordsmen, the jingal and the archer and spearmen in the front row are Khurasan. |
