I know I'm not hallucinating, since I saw a posting by Tango1, IIRC, of PSC's new 10mm, plastic, armored vehicles for the Cold War Soviets – BTR-60PBs, and T-64s were shown in the photos. I inquired about the link, which went to the PSC website, but there's no listing for these products there yet, and no 10mm Modern, Cold War category tabs, either. Anyone know when these will be made available for sale, and what other products will be sold to go with them, e.g. armor for various other opponents too? Can't find the link or posting here on TMP anymore, so it appears to have been removed. |

They are talking about spring next year for release. |

Thanks for the info. Another year? Hmmm, was hoping later this year, since it's been 1+ already since they were hinting at this, a while back.. |

They recently did a survey re scales on their facebook page, testing the waters, I think. From what I could see their was a heavy consensus of 'I already have too much invested in scales other than 10mm' from many commentators. (me included) |

I think this would be great for Team Yankie or Oil Wars |

If I was starting out today, I would go with 10mm. It would not wait for PSC, as Timecast and Pendraken have good ranges out. |

Perhaps true for some people who've invested in other scales, but 1/144th, which I consider 12mm scale (some consider 10mm to be the same as well) is superb for Modern Cold War gaming. For those wanting minis large enough to easily identify, and where the troops aren't so tiny as to disappear on the tabletop, while being small enough to negate the need for armored parking lots on the game table. Seems to me 1/144th, or 12mm scale is the perfect compromise. Some other companies do too. I haven't waited for PSC, but was hoping for more options to the 1/144th scale plastics on offer, in addition to those products from Minifigs, Timecast, and Pendraken. |
