New charges have been levied against five so-called urban explorers accused of flooding and partially sinking a World War II-era submarine in New Jersey during a pair of break-ins last summer… link

These are not urban explorers. Real urban explorers know to take only pictures and leave only footprints. These are vandals, pure and simple.

Agreed. If they were just exploring then they wouldn't have needed to take things and damage things. It was bad enough that they broke in, but then they had to damage and steal things. I hope they hit these guys pretty hard so that they will learn that this isn't ok.

They should be made to explore the inside of an urban jail for a long time.

A pity keel-hauling is no longer in favor. Would be poetic justice to have that done underneath the sub they damaged/sabotaged.
