Last week I posted a link (here Battle of Ticinus 218BC) to my battle report of a To the Strongest! game, recreating the Punic War Battle of Ticinus in 218BC. At the end I concluded that Publius Scipio's deployment of his Velites in front of the cavalry was a battle loosing move. I promised to refight the game but allow the Roman player to deploy how they saw fit, rather than historically. Over the weekend I did just that and produced a much different outcome Refight of Ticinus
