Does anyone know what scale the old fashioned plastic army men were, Y'know like the ones in the "Toy Story" movies?

JimDuncanUK21 Jul 2019 3:04 p.m. PST

54mm surely

My grandson has some, I'll borrow one.

I *believe* the toy soldiers in ‘Toy Story' were based on or inspired by Timmie Toys' Army men which were meant by Timmie to compete with the bulk of toy soldiers produced by Marx: 54mm or 1:32 scale. Marx did make toy soldiers in a variety of scales but the vast majority sold in it's hugely popular playsets were 54mm.
